Lines Written in Her Breviary is a translation by
Arthur Symons (1865–1945) of a poem by
St. Teresa of Avila (1515-1582). It is included in the
Poetry Appendix of the Liturgy of the Hours (1975). The more well known translation:
Santa Teresa's Book-Mark (Let Nothing Disturb Thee) by
